This review is from: Rapid 10 second Digital Medical Thermometer (Baby Product) When I bought it, I thought it would measure temperature within 10 sec. However, I did not realize that it takes 10sec only when used in rectal... hm..hm... so it was my mistake, as it is clearly written in the description. When used under-arm, you would need to wait up to 5 min. I checked with another trustworthy thermometer, otherwise it shows temperature lower than actual.
